TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Physician to join our Emergency Department team at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center-Bergan Mercy in Omaha, Nebraska. This facility is the flagship of our academic health system. We ask that you be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine. CHI Health Bergan Mercy is a brand-new, avant-garde, Level I Trauma Center and academic facility. Creighton University Residents in the FM, IM, GS and OB programs rotate through this Emergency Department. CHI Health is the only health system to serve Nebraska and southwest Iowa with a Level I Trauma Center. This Emergency Department sees an annual census of 36,000, with 35 hours of Physician coverage, along with 24 hours of Advanced Practice Clinician coverage. Join this collegiate and cohesive group of Emergency Physicians and revel in the ability to practice patient-centric medicine in our cutting-edge, 58-bed Emergency Department, with the option of an academic appointment. This remarkable ED features bedside ultrasound, 24-7 Radiology coverage, an extremely low patient-per-hour ratio and rapid door-to-physician times.
