Structural/Interventional Echo-Cardiographer

The New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center Structural Heart & Valve Center seeks an outstanding non-invasive Cardiologist to join our team as a Structural/Interventional Echo-Cardiographer. This is an Assistant Professor level position at the busiest Structural Heart program in the United States. Strong preference for Cardiologists with at least an additional year of advanced imaging training with significant Structural component. Level III training in echocardiography is a prerequisite for the position.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Echocardiographic guidance of complex structural heart interventions
  • Peri-procedural diagnostic TEE and TTE
  • Inpatient rounds on a busy structural heart clinical service

The ideal candidate must have broad echo skills, be able to work cooperatively with the existing strong and dynamic physician group, and will have experience and interest in clinical research.
