Job Details

Cleveland Clinic invites highly qualified Board Certified Neuroradiologists to join the Imaging Institute. These positions require formal fellowship training and a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology. Cleveland Clinic, an internationally renowned subspecialty medical center located in Cleveland, OH, is composed of a 1,400-bed main campus, ambulatory care facilities, and the Lerner Research Institute. Cleveland Clinic Health System currently encompasses 9 community hospitals and 18 family health centers within the Cleveland area.

Over 2.6 million radiological examinations are performed annually system-wide. The Imaging Institute is committed to sub-specialty care. A group of 19 Diagnostic Neuroradiologists interpret 150,000 Neuro-MRIs and CTs per year from across the healthcare system which include a broad spectrum of primary and tertiary care cases in adult and pediatric patients. The group performs limited spine interventional cases that are partly supported by midlevel providers while an affiliated group of interventional Neuroradiologists, Neurosurgeons and Neurologists are primarily responsible for Interventional Neuroradiology. Although imaging studies are acquired over a wide geographic area, the exams are largely reviewed centrally at the main campus on PACS workstations. There is a wide complement of state-of-the-art MRI and CT scanners.

Neuroradiology has a fellowship program and there is a fully-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program with a total of 32 residents. A 1-month medical student clerkship is offered, and approximately 50 medical students rotate through the department each year. The Imaging Institute is affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. All neuroradiology staff have joint appointments with the medical school and a genuine interest in education and research are a prerequisite. Neuroradiology staff maintain close working relationships with primary referring centers in the Neurological, Pediatric, Cancer, Medicine and Head and Neck Institutes to promote clinical innovation and research. Research efforts are supported by dedicated high field and ultra-high field MR machines and MR and CT physicists.

These dynamic positions command a competitive salary enhanced by an attractive benefits package and collegial environment. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
