Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), a 672-bed, major teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, seeks to hire a therapeutic endoscopist with advanced fellowship training at the Assistant Professor level or higher as a Member of the Faculty of Medicine to join a 40-member academic faculty practice. Successful applicants will be fully trained and Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, and should be proficient in all aspects of advanced therapeutic endoscopy. In addition to contributing to a very busy referral practice at the BIDMC Center for Advanced Endoscopy, with regional, national, and international referrals, supervision of GI Fellows and student/resident research supervision and teaching will be required. Special consideration will be given to applicants with interest in bariatric endoscopy and ESD techniques. A highly competitive salary will be provided. Interviews will occur in October-December 2017, selection in January 2018, starting date negotiable.

Requirements:

Applicants should be board certified in Gastroenterology and eligible for academic appointments at Harvard Medical School.
