Pulmonary Critical Care
The Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston/Fort Lauderdale, Florida has a faculty position opening for a well-qualified Pulmonary Medicine specialist.
The successful candidate would be trained in EBUS and will be further trained here, if needed in advanced diagnostics and interventional bronchoscopy to work with our interventional bronchoscopy staff. The candidate would be involved in the development and management of Lung Nodule Clinic and Lung Cancer Program. In addition, they will also be responsible for participating in an active clinical practice in pulmonary medicine and an active research program working in a multidisciplinary approach with colleagues in numerous specialties. The physician would be expected to share responsibilities in general pulmonology and critical care units. The position involves research, teaching (of our pulmonary-critical fellows and medical residents) and program development, as well as delivery of excellent clinical care. Teaching responsibilities are required as we have an ACGME Pulmonary-Critical Care Medicine Fellowship program.
The successful candidate will have skills and expertise in all disciplines of Pulmonary Medicine. This individual would develop a significant clinical practice, joining an established multidisciplinary pulmonary medicine team.
