Title: Staff Anesthesiologist Intensivists

Duties: The Staff Anesthesiologist Intensivists at Cleveland Clinic will work at Main Campus (9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44195) and Hillcrest Hospital (6780 Mayfield Road, Mayfield Heights, Ohio 44124). They administer local, intravenous, spinal, and caudal anesthetic to patients; provide clinical critical care services to patients in the surgical intensive care unit; determine degree of surgical risk and type/quality of anesthetic; discuss findings with medical practitioners; position patient on operating table; establish remedial measures to counteract adverse reactions/complications; document/record type and amount of anesthetic administered; and teach residents and fellows as required. On call as needed.

Requirements: At a minimum, the position requires: MD or foreign equivalent as determined by credentials evaluation or as evidenced by an ECFMG certificate, Board Eligibility or Board Certification in both Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, and eligibility for medical licensure in Ohio.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience ($330,000)
