The Hematology Oncology Section at VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) invites applications for a full-time hematologist or hematologist-oncologist to develop a research program while providing excellent patient care and teaching in both benign and malignant hematology. The successful candidate should be eligible for appointment as Instructor or Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School (HMS) or Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM).

The Section’s faculty conducts basic, clinical, and translational research in coagulation, multiple myeloma, and point-of-care precision oncology. Additional valuable resources include access to a large VA biorepository based at VABHS and the VA clinical trials network.
VABHS is the major tertiary referral center for Veterans from throughout New England and is strongly affiliated with HMS and BUSM. The System comprises three major campuses and five community-based outpatient clinics.
