TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Physician to join our team as EM Residency Program Director at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. St. Rita's ED is a Level II Trauma Center seeing an annual patient volume of 60,000, and an admission rate at 25% in addition to utilizing EPIC. The ED has 46 beds and clinicians see an average of two patients per hour. This is a brand new Emergency Medicine residency program. There are 56 hours of Physician Coverage per day, and 48 hours of Advanced Practice Clinician coverage per day, in addition to multiple back up sub-specialty services offered. This position includes malpractice and tail coverage provided by TeamHealth along with an employed practiced model. St. Rita's Medical Center is the largest hospital within a 70-mile radius of Lima and has additional treatment facilities in Lima on the east and west side in Glandorf, Delphos and Wapakoneta. Plus, the Occupational Health Center in Lima. St. Rita's continues to be the region's leader in medical care.

Founded in 1918, medical services include trauma and emergency, cancer treatment, women's health, pediatrics, sports medicine and rehabilitation, behavioral health services, homecare and hospice. Last renovated in 1995, improvements were grown for larger rooms available 24/7 with “family zone”, advanced CarePath technology, behavioral health, and a meditation and grieving area. An additional 8,000 square feet will be added and the existing department in the future. Services offered at this facility are Audiology, Cardiology, Behavioral Health, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Dialysis, Endoscopy, ENT, Gynecology, Hematology/Oncology, Internal Medicine, Mammography, MRI, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, OB/Gyn, Obstetrics, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Pulmonology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Rheumatology, Ultrasound, Urology, Vascular Surgery, and Wound Care. The Emergency Medicine Residency program is looking to start in 2021. St. Rita's has also been approved for an Internal Medicine Residency, Family Medicine Residency and General Surgery.
