Full-time Inpatient Psychiatry Opening – Teaching Position in Danbury, CT (60 miles from NYC)
Danbury Hospital, located in Danbury, CT, (Fairfield County), about 60 miles northeast of New York City, and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York State, is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist for coverage in our inpatient unit. We have a 22-bed unit and advanced practitioner coverage in addition to physician coverage. Weekend coverage is paid at an additional per diem rate. This is a teaching position for third-year medical students through the University of Vermont.
The ideal candidate will be a board certified/eligible Psychiatrist looking to join an established employed group. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses and relocation. This is an employed position with Western Connecticut Medical Group.
