Weekend Day Per Diem Hospitalist - Danbury, Connecticut (70 miles from New York City)
Danbury Hospital located in Danbury, CT, (Fairfield County), about 70 miles northeast of New York City, and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York State, is seeking a per diem Hospitalist to join our established and busy program. This is a great moonlighting opportunity to work in in a busy medium size community hospital with a great support structure, friendly consults, and collegial work environment. Position is a weekend day schedule typically 8 am – 6 pm but may need to stay until 7 or 8 pm on occasion but no overnights. We have a dedicated Nocturnist team. This is a non-teaching position. We offer competitive hourly rates. The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine.

Provide medical care to patients, assist them to recover from acute illnesses, and minimize the effects of chronic illnesses.
- MD or DO with Connecticut State and Federal Narcotic Use Registration
- Preferred: Prior experience as a staff physician
- Have successfully completed an Internal Medicine Residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Availability to work at least one weekend shift per month (Sat and Sun 8 am – 6 pm)
