Responsibilities

• Medical Directorship of assigned clinics
  • Give medical direction to the medical and medical assistance staff
  • Lead the development and evaluation of standards of medical care throughout the clinics in the region
  • Position is split between administrative leadership at 25 percent and clinical responsibilities at 75 percent 
• Clinical duties
  • Diagnose and treat diseases, disorders and injuries, and refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners for specialized treatment
  • Complete physical assessment of patients
  • Conduct and order various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images for patients
  • Prescribe medications and therapies
  • Input patient medical data into electronic medical records
• Operational Responsibilities
  • Interview Practitioner candidates for on-site clinics
  • Review clinic space and coordinate scheduling
  • Present data for clinic proposals to potential and existing clients
• Quality Assurance
  • Assist in improving quality/customer satisfaction
  • Train new employees as assigned

Desired Skills

• Has an M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited educational institution
• Is Board Certified or Board Eligible, if testing soon, preferably in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Has an unrestricted licensed to practice medicine in the State of California, or a CA Provisional License in progress
• Current DEA, DPS, CPR and BLS
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
