Neurology Physician Opportunity

The Neuroscience Institute of Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is seeking highly motivated neurologists to complement the team and meet the expanding needs for a Neurology presence in Pittsburgh, PA and surrounding suburbs. As an AHN physician, you will receive a generous compensation package – including sign-on bonus, competitive salary, and excellent benefits, while being part of a large established medical community in Pittsburgh Pa. Responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient care, as well as research and administrative duties.

Requirements             

• Board-certified or eligible
• Pennsylvania & DEA license or eligible
• Fellowship training or clinical experience in the applicable specialist field

Our institute integrates renowned experts in the subspecialties of neurology, neurotology, neuroradiology, neuro-critical care, and neurosurgery to offer leading-edge diagnosis and treatment for patients with the most complex neurological disorders. Recognized as a Neurosciences Center of Excellence, a Spine Center of Excellence, AHN is also a national and international referral center with a highly active basic, clinical and translations research program. We are also a National Center of Excellence designated by the ALS Association and a Level 4 (highest level) Epilepsy Center designated by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers.

The Department of Neurology currently staffs 19 neurologists who specialize in a myriad of neurological disorders, including; General Neurology, MS, Epilepsy, Stroke, Headache, Alzheimer’s/Dementia, Neuro-psyche testing Spasticity, EMG’s, Neuro-muscular disorders, ALS, Myasthenia Gravis, Parkinson’s/Movement Disorders, Concussion

The Allegheny General Neurology Residency Program has five (5) approved residency positions per year. Through ‘Advanced-link’ it combines four (4) years of training into our ACGME-accredited preliminary Internal Medicine and Neurology Residency Programs.
