The Attending Physician, reports to the Chief Medical Officer in our Medical and Vision department. The Attending Physician provides comprehensive, effective medical and preventive care to patients at Lighthouse Guild’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center (DTC).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides coordinated care while evaluating and managing medical conditions
- Promotes healthful and preventive medical and lifestyle advice as clinically indicated
- Provides effective and timely communications with medical staff, patients, patient representatives, the Chief Medical Officer, the Director of the DTC, and other authorized individuals and organizations
- Promotes and participates in educational activities for the DTC, Lighthouse Guild departments, and the community
- Participates in all functions of the DTC including quality assurance, infection control, and safety
- Enters and maintains accurate, timely, and complete medical records
- Maintains and provides board certifications, mandatory credentialing documents, and CMEs
QUALIFICATIONS:
To qualify you must be board certified in family medicine, licensed to practice in New York State, and knowledgeable and experienced in Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric medicine.
