Geisinger Lycoming is pleased to offer primary care services to its growing patient population in Montoursville, Pa., including numerous free health related events and screenings throughout the year. The call schedule is light and includes after-hour phone triage only. Ample nursing, clinical and clerical staff are available as well as pharmacy, advanced practice support and ancillary services (lab, radiology and more). Montoursville, PA, a village at the mouth of Loyalsock Creek on the West Branch Susquehanna River, was an important stopping point for the Moravian missionaries who were spreading the gospel throughout the wilderness of Pennsylvania during the 1740s. This site was formerly the Native American Village of Ostonwakin. Today this river community has a vibrant commerce sector. One can pick-up a fresh pastry from the bakery, buy some camping gear at the camping supply store or rent a canoe from the outfitter all along Broad Street, Montoursville's main street.
