The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Applicants must have an MD degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Applicants must be ABIM certified in Internal Medicine, board eligible/certified in Cardiovascular Disease. Applicants should have substantial training or experience in evaluation and management of patients with inherited forms of cardiovascular disease.
The successful applicants will join an established center staffed by physicians specializing in inherited cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and aortopathies, a program manager, two genetics counselors, a nurse practitioner, two nurses, and a research study coordinator. The Center provides multiple opportunities for research endeavors in human genetics and precision medicine. Teaching responsibilities/opportunities will be expected with residents and medical students. Evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track.
