The Duke Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Department of Pediatrics seek a Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join our faculty in Durham, North Carolina. Candidates will have completed their residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and must be BC/BE with fellowship training in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
This Duke physician will have the opportunity to work with a group of experienced pediatric specialists from Orthopaedics, Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, and Neurology in the rehabilitation and medical management of patients with a range of conditions. He/she will provide care to patients with neurodevelopmental problems, neuromuscular disorders, muscular conditions, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. This physician may also extend their practice to spasticity management with Baclofen pump, pediatric non-surgical spine care, in-patient consultation, ultrasound guided procedures, etc.
In addition to patient care, there are opportunities to participate in medical education, research, and other scholastic activities.
