POSTDOCTORAL T32-FUNDED TRAINING FELLOWSHIPS IN BASIC AND TRANSLATIONAL ENDOCRINOLOGY AND METABOLISM
The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Pittsburgh seeks MD, MD/PhD, or PhD scientists for POSTDOCTORAL T32-FUNDED TRAINING FELLOWSHIPS IN BASIC AND TRANSLATIONAL ENDOCRINOLOGY AND METABOLISM.
The successful candidates will conduct cutting-edge NIH-funded basic, translational, clinical, epidemiological, or health outcomes research. Applicants MUST be a US citizen or permanent resident at the time fellowship begins. Physician scientist and candidates with cross/multidisciplinary research programs are particularly desirable.
Strengths of the program include 1) broad and comprehensive exposure to a wide range of metabolic techniques using a variety of experimental systems (cells, mice, and humans), 2) scientific and career development support from a mentoring team of outstanding faculty in the field of metabolism, and 3) access to additional scientific and career development resources through the University of Pittsburgh.
The standard post-doctoral fellowship duration is two years.
