Interventional Cardiologist

The Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) has an opening for an Interventional Cardiologist with strong endovascular skills to practice out of Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York. We are seeking a well-trained fellowship trained interventional cardiologist with advanced training in endovascular procedures. The successful candidate will be Board Certified in General Cardiology and eligible to take the interventional boards. The successful candidate possesses excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills and is committed to patient care, medical education, and scholarly activity to further advance the mission of the center in providing state-of-the-art comprehensive care. The position will afford the opportunity to collaborate at Westchester Medical Center, where an academic appointment with New York Medical College will be available.

The Good Samaritan Cardiology Department enjoys an excellent reputation for first class patient care and has a robust referral base. You will be joining a large program that currently performs approximately 600 PCIs per year, in addition to other diagnostic and general cardiology needs. This large group of cardiologists works closely with our busy and growing cardiothoracic team. Good Samaritan Hospital is a non-profit, 286-bed hospital, a Level II Trauma Center, providing acute care services to residents of Rockland and southern Orange Counties in New York; and northern Bergen County, New Jersey. The hospital is located approximately 25 miles from Westchester Medical Center in suburban Rockland County, 45 minutes north of New York City.
