A clinic in Texas needs an ophthalmologist who can work a three-month locum tenens assignment. This is a basic position where the locum will handle pre- and post-operative care, perform evaluations, and some minor ophthalmology procedures. Patient volume on a typical day will be between 15 - 40 patients per day (depending on cases seen). Shifts worked on this assignment will be 8am - 5pm, Monday through Thursday with an abbreviated shift of 8am - 12pm on Fridays. This facility prefers applicants who are comfortable with cornea, glaucoma, and cataract surgeries.
