Nocturnist

TeamHealth is seeking a talented Internal Medicine and Family Medicine trained physician to join our established Hospitalist practice at Baptist South Medical Center in Montgomery, Alabama as a Nocturnist. Enjoy a competitive compensation package. No rounding on the floor or in the ICU required. This position handles night admissions and occasional consults, responds to codes and floor calls as needed. The Nocturnist will share night responsibilities with a 3 person team to include 2 physicians and 1 APC.

This facility has been a part of the community since 1963, and is a 454-bed, not-for-profit medical center. The area recognizes Baptist Medical Center South for its leading services in cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurology, and surgery. Its services have expanded to include an accredited sleep disorders center, regional neonatal intensive care unit, chest pain diagnosis and treatment center within the emergency department, behavioral health treatment facility and family centered maternity center.
