Trinity Health Of New England—the region's largest nonprofit health system—seeks BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeons to join our expanding teams in Hartford, Connecticut and Springfield, Massachusetts.

As we continue to expand and broaden our specialized services, we have exciting opportunities at prestigious facilities within the Trinity Health Of New England family of hospitals.  The following opportunities are currently available:

Director of Orthopedic Trauma

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut

We are seeking a highly experienced, Trauma fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon to serve as Director of Orthopedic Trauma.  In this role, you will oversee the highly visible Orthopedic Trauma Program. You will lead, inspire and build a team of fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons and specialists who share the same vision and values of patient care. As a key member of our orthopedic service-line leadership team, you will exemplify professionalism as you work closely with staff, administration and board members. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the services provided by physicians. You will also provide ongoing reviews of established policies and procedures, and you will be involved in quality-improvement initiatives with long-range planning.

This is also an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your clinical and academic expertise as you participate in trauma research and the education of residents and medical students.

Orthopedic Surgeon with interest and/or fellowship training in Total Joint Reconstruction

Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts

We are seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon with interest and/or fellowship training in Total Joint Reconstruction to join our orthopedic surgery team.  In this full-time position, you will be part of a high-volume practice with excellent clinical support, including 24/7 hospitalist physicians who assist with perioperative care and dedicated physician assistants who provide support in the hospital and the clinic.  You will have the opportunity to be the face of Mercy Medical Center's arthroplasty program— working with hospital and OR leadership to drive our Total Joint Replacement Program. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand and build market share and explore additional elective practice opportunities. This is a fully dedicated orthopedic opportunity that does not require any ED call.
