Occupational Medicine Physician

Trinity Health Of New England— the region's largest nonprofit health system — seeks a BC/BE Occupational Medicine physician who values delivering team-oriented, patient-driven care, and proactive injury prevention services  to join the 4-location Occupational Clinic Network of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. This provider opening is your opportunity to work closely with other Trinity Health Of New England team members to not only deliver quality care to patients in our facilities but also interact with their employers and prospective new employer-clients in the field.  Our occupational medicine leadership team wants physicians who demonstrate strong collaborative and interpersonal skills as you conduct workplace visits, provide acute injury care, pre-employment police and fire physicals and DOT exams. Become well-versed in OSHA regulations and DOT certifications, as well as ConnOSHA regulatory compliance in a timely manner. Interested Emergency Medicine or Orthopedic Surgery specialists are also encouraged to apply.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, with weekends and holidays off; no call.    This schedule affords providers new to Occupational Medicine a chance to augment their knowledge and skills through formal education or independent study; this necessary educational progress will be considered part of the performance review process.
