Duke Kernodle Clinic Walk-in Clinic
The Kernodle Clinic Walk-In Clinic in Burlington, NC, is seeking a full-time physician to join their group. Ideal candidates are BC/BE Family Practice or Internal Medicine physicians with a broad spectrum of urgent care and primary care experience. The Walk-In Clinic provided almost 19,000 patient encounters in 2016 with two full-time physicians and two part-time physicians.
The Walk-In Clinic has office hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The Walk-In is at the heart of this large multi-specialty clinic with six exam rooms, one procedure room, and two physician offices. There is on-site digital x-ray and laboratory testing. Staff consists of two Registered Nurses, four Certified Medical Assistants, and two receptionists. There are no call responsibilities for this position.
Kernodle Clinic has more than 50 providers in 15 specialty areas. The clinic is located in Burlington, NC, approximately 30 minutes from Duke, Durham, and Greensboro. It is directly adjacent to Alamance Regional Medical Center (ARMC), a high-quality 220-bed medical center, which is part of the Cone Health group of hospitals.
Centrally located in the piedmont area of North Carolina, Alamance County (pop. 155,000) includes the midsize communities of Burlington, Elon and Mebane.
