General Nephrology Fellowship

The Columbia University Medical Center Division of Nephrology has an immediate opening for a highly qualified and motivated physician for a first-year position in our two-year ACGME-accredited General Nephrology Fellowship program.

The Columbia University Medical Center Division of Nephrology is consistently ranked among the top five in the country and the Nephrology Fellowship is designed to provide outstanding practical and academic training in every aspect of renal care. Through this training, the fellows will develop all requisite competencies in Nephrology, including diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, hemodialysis treatment, management of transplantation, performance of kidney biopsies, and interpretation of renal pathology. This academic fellowship will also offer numerous opportunities in clinical and basic research mentored by national and international leaders in the field and enable trainees to integrate interpersonal skills, professionalism, humanism, and lifelong learning into daily nephrology practice.
