Marshfield Clinic- Rice Lake Center is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon to join an established 2 member Department of Surgery. This service includes consultation and surgery on medical conditions involving the breast, gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract and hernias, and screening and diagnostic endoscopy. Surgeons supervise treatment of patients with chronic non-healing wounds. Outreach is an expectation of this practice. Call Schedule-1:3
*Two year guaranteed salary, with production based after that.
*4 weeks vacation, 2 weeks CME to start.
*$5,800 CME annual allowance.

About Lakeview Medical Center – Rice Lake
In 2008, Marshfield Clinic integrated with Lakeview Medical Center. In January 2011 a Lakeview Medical Center opened its new facility attached to the Marshfield Clinic – Rice Lake Center. This 40 bed facility includes 16 ER/UC beds, 27 inpatient rooms including 3 pediatric and 5 ICU rooms, 4 OR’s and 4 L&D rooms. The combined campus provides a wide variety of medical services and serves as a training site for the Wisconsin Academy of Rural Medicine program.
About the Rice Lake Area
Rice Lake, located in Barron County is northwestern Wisconsin, serves a regional area of approximately 50 miles radius. The city of about 8,000 has a stable economy centered around manufacturing and retail trade. The area school system provides students with an excellent educational experience. The district consists of six elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school.
