Family or Internal Medicine or Med/Peds Midwest Opportunity

Marshfield Clinic is seeking a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med/Peds physician to join the Center in Park Falls, WI. The ideal candidate will have the option join a practice that is a combination of outpatient and inpatient care OR outpatient only. Call is 1:5 for inpatient admissions.

Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls, Wisconsin is a Critical Access Hospital co-sponsored by Ministry Health Care and Marshfield Clinic. It serves a patient base of 17,650 people in four counties and is a Medicare certified facility. Flambeau Hospital offers a broad variety of inpatient services including medical, surgical and intensive care, pediatrics and geriatrics. Outpatient services include surgery, home health and hospice care, 24-hours emergency care, advanced pulmonary medicine, clinical laboratories, cardiac rehabilitation, physical/occupational/speech therapy, telemedicine as well as digital imaging technology.

Park Falls is the largest city in price County with a population slightly over 3000. Park Falls is surrounded by over 900,000 acres of federal, state and county forests and offers uncrowded waterways for fishing and boating activities. Wildlife is abundant with many different species of wildlife including black bear, whitetail deer, timber wolves, and coyotes. Many species of birds are native to the area including loons, hawks, owls, bald eagles, osprey, ruffed grouse, great blue herons and many types of ducks and geese.
