The Pathology and Laboratory Service at VA Boston Health Care System (VABHS) is soliciting applications for the position of Pathologist – Director, Flow Cytometry and Hematology (Full Time). This position may include the duty of serving as Associate Chief of Pathology and Laboratory Service depending on the qualifications. The position is located at our West Roxbury, MA campus.

VABHS is the major tertiary referral center for veterans from throughout New England and is strongly affiliated with Harvard Medical School (HMS) and Boston University (BU). The incumbent will have the opportunity for an academic appointment at one of the affiliates, commensurate with experience. Candidates should be board certified in Hematopathology, and board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology.

The Pathologist will provide Surgical Pathology and Hematopathology case review and reporting, perform autopsy procedures and reporting, and will attend and report to the principal Tumor Boards, as required. Additionally, the Pathologist will participate in teaching, research, and clinical activities co-sponsored by academic affiliates Boston University Medical Center and Harvard Medical School.

Suitable candidates must have an MD or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution. Candidates must be a U.S. Citizens and have English language proficiency.
