The University of Florida Division of Hematology/Oncology within the Department of Medicine is seeking applications for a full-time, Assistant, Associate, Full Professor clinician research physician. Tenure accruing and non tenure accruing tracks are available. Rank and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications.

The department seeks an ABIM certified medical oncologist with experience in managing patients with lung, and head and neck cancers, and an active interest in the development and conduct of clinical trials. The individual will have a primarily clinical assignment, but will also be expected to develop and conduct clinical trials in patients with thoracic malignancies. As such, the position will be co-supported by the University of Florida Cancer Center.

Resources available for professional development at the University of Florida Health Sciences Center Include leadership, education, and research tracks within a Clinical Translational Science Institute (CTSI), formal mentorship programs, and supported opportunities for teaching and research. These faculty positions may be based at our University teaching hospital or at our immediately adjacent VA Hospital both of which serve a designated shortage area and/or a medically underserved area/population.
