The Division of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences (HNS&CS) at Duke University is recruiting a clinician-scientist with expertise in the field of Rhinology. Candidates must have completed an accredited residency program in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and fellowship training in Rhinology. We are also seeking an individual with  a strong background in basic science, translational or clinical research who is highly motivated to build a research program that includes productive collaborations with clinicians and scientists at Duke and within the Research Triangle area. This faculty position will come with 50% guaranteed dedicated research time for 3 years, mentorship resources, and a robust institutional research infrastructure with the expectation of external funding . 

The Division of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences in the Department of Surgery consists of 16 MD academic faculty, 3.5 MD clinical faculty, and 4 PhD research faculty.  The division has a robust clinical practice at multiple practice sites that include Duke University Hospital, Duke Children's Health Center, Duke Raleigh Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital, and the Durham VA Hospital.  It has developed several interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary programs that include the Duke Voice Care Center, the Head and Neck Oncology Program within the Duke Cancer Institute, and the Duke Skull Base Center.
