The Section of Interventional Pulmonology in the Pulmonary Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, a 473-inpatient bed hospital, is seeking a third AABIP board-certified/board eligible full-time Interventional Pulmonology attending. ABIM Pulmonary Disease board certification is mandatory; Critical Care Medicine board certification is preferred. The Section has both a formal IP fellowship and APP program. We perform the full range of bronchoscopy, airway, and pleural procedures, all in the context of cutting edge multidisciplinary oncologic care. There are diverse opportunities for collaborative research and device development. IP faculty members provide clinical and procedural education to IP and Pulmonary fellows and APPs. Candidates will be expected to provide inpatient consultations, outpatient continuity care, procedural services, and IP call coverage.
