Job Details
Northwell Health, Office of Academic Affairs is seeking a Global Health Director to launch our Global Health Program. Northwell Health is the former North Shore-LIJ Health System and provides care for more than seven million New Yorkers. As we continue to expand the academic and clinical footprint of Northwell Health, there is a strong need for the alignment of departmental global initiatives across the entire health care organization and cross-collaboration with Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine and Hofstra University. The ideal candidate will be a Board Certified physician with a track record of leadership for education in global health. This position will be expected to spend time at the Office of Academic Affairs on Long Island, but may be based out of any Northwell Health site.
Highlights include:
- Manage the strategic, programmatic, and financial operations of the Office of Global Health
- Direct the development and expansion of global health services related to education, clinical care, and research
- Facilitate the review, improvement, and maintenance of standards and engage key physicians in this process
- Mentor fellows, residents, and students and faculty for professional development, including research and scholarship

Salary Disclosure
Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
