Neurologist should be interested in a 50/50 model between inpatient work and outpatient practice. Inpatient includes medically managing stroke alerts, inpatient consults, and subsequent hospital visits within our network of three hospitals. Telestroke and Teleneurology consults provided to two critical access medical centers. Top conditions treated: Stroke, headache/migraine, epilepsy, MS, Parkinsons/Tremors, Inpatient neurodiagnostics such as EEG and inpatient sleep studies are available. Comfort in EEG interpretation is required. Outpatient practice includes many of the same diagnoses, new patient consults, follow up visits, hospital follow ups. Two Neurology office locations offer Neurodiagnostics in EEG, EMG, and VNG. Botox therapy and GON blocks are also offered. Excellent rotating schedule for inpatient call of 1:7 for evening call for stroke via teleneurology from home (5 pm-8 am) and every seventh weekend (Fri-Mon 5 pm-8 am). Call frequency may decrease with added providers. PinnacleHealth is Joint Commission certified for its DSC-Advanced Primary Stroke Center at all three hospitals
