Our Medical Director for the Long Term Acute Care Unit at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center will oversee the care provided on our 26-bed LTAC. You will partner with our incredible CMO, Dr. Helen Chen,  and work as an integral member of the Hebrew SeniorLife Medical Leadership team.

The LTAC treats post acute patients with a wide range of conditions, combining hospital level care with primary and specialty medical care, and rehabilitation therapies. Since 2004 we have been caring for patients with a wide range of pulmonary, cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurological, and other medical and post acute conditions. All sub specialty consults are available, and the LTAC is supported by a robust and skilled Palliative Care team as well. Specific responsibilities will include oversight of clinical care, program development, staff recruitment and selection; employee engagement activities; quality assurance; a wide range of committee participation; and involvement in teaching activities. Requirements: Board Certified in Internal Medicine; Valid and Unrestricted Medical License; Meets (or will meet in the future) requirements for academic appointment to Harvard Medical School at rank commensurate with accomplishments and experience. ACLS certified and prior experience in post acute rehabilitation or hospital medicine.
