Internal Medicine Associates at Massachusetts General Hospital provides an exciting opportunity for primary care physicians to practice comprehensive internal medicine in an innovative academic setting committed to team-based care. We are actively recruiting for a part-time primary care provider to join our practice.

You will join an academic institution and participate in a teaching and active learning environment, and will obtain an appointment of Instructor through Harvard Medical School if HMS teaching requirements are met. Internal Medicine Associates (IMA) at Massachusetts General Hospital is an adult primary care medical practice committed to providing the highest level of care. Our care team works together with patients and their families, offering guidance and answers to help each individual take an active and educated role in his or her treatment. We also focus on disease prevention through risk assessment, education, preventative action, appropriate specialized care, and early diagnosis and treatment.

With 50 staff physicians, more than 60 medicine residents, nine nurse practitioners, more than 20 nurses, and a full administrative and support staff, IMA is the largest Mass General teaching practice. In addition to primary care and consultative services, IMA offers comprehensive care for more serious medical issues, on-site nurse case managers, an urgent care unit for our patients, diabetic counseling, and more. Internal Medicine Associates provides convenient access to all of the hospital's resources, including a complete range of diagnostic services within the building. This includes laboratories for specimen collection and EKGs, pulmonary function testing, imaging services, physical therapy, behavioral therapy, and social services.
