Opportunity to join #1 Cardiology Department in the Country

The Heart and Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic is seeking an Exercise Physiologist with a Ph.D. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience and understands the current state of cardiac rehab. CES/RCEP certified. The successful candidate will have published articles and be an ambitious, collaborative professional who enjoys seeing patients and is committed to contributing to the development of the program and the long terms goals of the department. Opportunity for flexibility and to participate in teaching activities and other departmental initiatives also exist. Duties will include providing patient care for cardiovascular disease, coronary disease, weight management, valvular, coronary and peripheral artery disease, POTS, cardiac rehab and sports cardiology.

This is a staff level position where the incumbent provides expertise, vision and direction for the program. The incumbent provides guidance for the future direction of cardiac rehab and works closely with the program medical directors to align the enterprise initiatives with this service.

Patients come from all over the United States and the world for the advanced diagnosis and innovative treatments offered by the department. Our expert cardiologists collaborate with other Cardiology specialists and cardiovascular surgeons to manage outpatient and inpatient patients with complex multisystem disease in a comprehensive and highly effective manner. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
