A hospital in Virginia is looking for a psychiatrist who can provide locum tenens coverage for three to six months. The provider will be required to do daily consultation rounds and work with patients who have schizophrenia, mood disorders, dual diagnosis substance abuse, and comorbid DSM5 diagnosis. On a typical day, the locum will see 12 to 16 adult and geriatric patients, and occasionally one 16-year-old. The provider will work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and night call.
