ACADEMIC PULMONOLOGIST

The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking an exceptional physician for a clinical faculty position with a focus on general pulmonary outpatient medicine. The position will also provide opportunities for inpatient work on the consult service and in the Medical Intensive Care Units and Respiratory Acute Care Unit. Appointment at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievement. An individual with an established reputation in clinical pulmonology, commitment to education, as well as an ability to work with innovators in academia is desired.

The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine provides comprehensive care for patients with all types of pulmonary disease and critical illness with active subspecialty programs in pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, lung transplantation, interstitial lung disease, and interventional pulmonology. There are also opportunities to collaborate with clinical and translational research programs in the Division and to supervise and teach residents and fellows.
