The Division of Pediatric Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics invites applications for the Director of Pediatric Heart Failure and Transplantation at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Faculty appointment at Duke University School of Medicine will be commensurate with the applicant's background and accomplishments. This position is a part of an ongoing expansion of the nationally recognized Children's Heart Center at Duke Children's Hospital and the Duke Heart Center. The Children's Heart Center benefits from participation in the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute supported Pediatric Heart Network and from the robust research environment at Duke University, including the Duke Clinical Research Institute and the Duke Translational Medicine Institute.
Required Certification or ExperienceApplicants should be board certified or board eligible in pediatric cardiology and should have excellent clinical skills and the ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team. In addition, they should have experience in clinical research and should be willing to participate actively in medical education.
