Excellent opportunity for BE/BC General Surgeons to join general surgeon in practice at Kernodle Clinic in Burlington, NC. Kernodle Clinic is Duke's flagship practice in their western market.  Kernodle Clinic is also Duke's largest community-based multi-specialty practice of 50 physicians and 26 mid-level providers covering 15 medical and surgical specialties. The practice includes 75,000 sq. ft. main office, plus a walk-in clinic and two satellite offices. The General Surgery practice is based at the main office with surgeries performed at Alamance Regional Medical Center (ARMC) located adjacent to the clinic.  

Practice call will be 1:4, shared with community surgeons, ER call covered by surgical intensivists.  Ideal candidates will be comfortable with routine general surgical procedures.  Practice will be 50% general surgery/50% surgical oncology. Fellowship training in surgical oncology or minimally invasive surgery a plus.

Ideal candidate will be board certified, comfortable in providing care in all areas of a very robust general surgery practice and dedicated to providing the highest quality patient experience.  Selected physician will receive competitive compensation, a full array of benefits, relocation, and CME allowance.
