Special Operations Physician

Opportunities for physicians to join our Special Operations Emergency Medicine team at multiple locations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Washington, and Oregon. Our Special Operations teams work at selected EDs, and physicians are guaranteed 120 hours per month. We provide an elite guaranteed hourly compensation, paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage, and paid travel and accommodations. This is an independent contractor position. Qualifications include: ABEM/AOBEM certified or prepared and EM residency trained. TeamHealth will obtain additional medical licenses and DEAs for the designated states, if needed. Candidates for these positions must be adaptive and possess excellent communication skills as well as a team-player attitude. Flexibility and the ability to travel is a must.

TeamHealth Emergency Medicine West Region encompasses the states of California, Hawaii, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, and parts of Missouri. To ensure we provide high-quality services to our clients in these states, we hire providers who may travel among any combination of one or more of these states to provide short- or long-term clinical or management services to our clients on an as-needed basis.
