Academic Physician

We are seeking an Toxicology Director to assist in the implementation of a new Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Physicians must be Board Certified or Eligible ABEM or AOBEM. If Board Eligible, physician must be Board Certified within 5 years of completion of Residency. Current ACLS, ATLS and PALS preferred. The sponsoring institution already has an ACGME accredited program in Internal Medicine and General Surgery and is moving forward with additional programs in Emergency Medicine. It is a core faculty position with excellent opportunities for career and financial progression. Completion of Emergency Medicine Toxicology fellowship is a requirement.

Grand Strand Regional Medical Center is a 269 bed acute care hospital committed to quality patient care located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It is a designated Level II trauma center, Advanced Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center. South Strand Medical Center is a department of Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, this free standing ED is located in South Myrtle Beach about 22 miles south of the Hospital location.
