TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a Physician to join our Emergency Medicine team full-time at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, Alabama. This 454-bed facility is part of the Baptist Health System and has grown to become Montgomery’s largest healthcare facility by providing a broad range of services. The 40-bed ED has an annual patient volume of 64,000. With Hospitalists on site, there are 50 hours of physician coverage and 24 hours of APC and scribe coverage daily in the ED. The right candidate needs to be residency trained/board certified in ABEM or AOBEM.

This facility has been a part of the community since 1963, and is a 454-bed, not-for-profit medical center. The area recognizes Baptist Medical Center South for its leading services in cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurology, and surgery. Its services have expanded to include an accredited sleep disorders center, regional neonatal intensive care unit, chest pain diagnosis and treatment center within the emergency department, behavioral health treatment facility and family centered maternity center.
