Physician

Opportunity for a Physician to join our Emergency Medicine team full-time at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama. This 712-bed community hospital has a 41-bed ED that features 28 acute side beds, 5 hallway beds, 2 psych beds and 6 Fast Track beds. The Fast Track is open from 12pm to 10am with APC coverage provided. Physicians respond to floor codes. 24 hours of APC coverage and 48 hours of Physician coverage is provided daily: 2 Physicians are on from 6am to 6pm and 2 Physicians are on from 6pm to 6am. 8 percent of patients seen in this 45,000-annual-volume ED are pediatrics. The EMR utilized is EPIC. Qualified candidates must be BE/BC in EM, and experience with a similar ED setting is preferred.
