TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a Physician to join our Emergency Medicine team full-time at Fayette Medical Center in Fayette, Alabama. Part of the DCH Health System, this facility is located an hour and a half west of Birmingham. We feature full lab and radiology services with an in-house three dimensional CT scanner and MRI, an 8-bed ICU, and specialty clinics in cardiology, oncology, urology, orthopedics, neurology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, nephrology and rheumatology. The ED has 6 beds and an annual patient volume of 14,700. Physicians work in 12- or 24-hour shifts and see stroke and heart attack cases frequently. All major trauma is transferred to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. The right candidate must be BC in a primary care specialty with several years of emergency medicine experience.
