We are looking for a full-time Nocturnist to join our Hospital Medicine team at Summerville Medical Center in Summerville, South Carolina. You’ll be working 12-hour shifts, from 6pm to 6am, and no procedures will be required. We offer sub-specialty back-up with full support and we average 7 admissions per night.

Summerville Medical Center is a 94-bed, acute-care hospital with a 24-hour emergency room and comprehensive medical services. The facility enjoys an enviable reputation for its cardiac services, pediatrics, and women's services including home-like birthing suites. Some of our accolades include being named a Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center, Certified Stroke Center, Certified Advanced Heart Failure, Certified Total Hip and Knee Replacement, and Top Hospital for Quality Performance. We’ve also been awarded the following from the American Heart Association’s Get with the Guidelines: Gold Plus in Heart Failure, Gold in AMI, and Bronze in Stroke.

Settled after the American Revolutionary War, Summerville officially became a town in 1847. Summerville is mostly situated in Dorchester County, South Carolina with small portions of the county reaching into Berkeley and Charleston counties.
