Job Details
We are seeking an outstanding clinician-educator for our new section of geriatric medicine within our academic general internal medicine group. This position will be 100% FTE at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on the Clinical Scholar (non-tenure) pathway.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high value care to older adults in a variety of clinical settings
- Teach, evaluate, and mentor medical students and resident physicians
- Participate in divisional and departmental efforts to improve care delivery and medical education
Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, board certification or eligibility in Geriatric Medicine, a commitment to a career in academic geriatric medicine, excellent communication skills, a record of engagement in teaching and service, and US citizenship or permanent residency.
