Hospitalist

We are seeking well-trained hospitalists to join our faculty practice at MidHudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center (MHRH), in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is an academic group of ten Board Certified Internists that is based at a 240-bed community hospital located in beautiful Dutchess County, about one hour north of Westchester Medical Center. MHRH is the most experienced Level 2 trauma center between Albany and Westchester and has an excellent reputation for Behavioral Health, Orthopedics, Trauma and Critical Care.

The candidate must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and have at least 2-3 years of experience. In addition, candidates should have a track record of strong clinical and academic accomplishments. Candidates with leadership experience in quality, patient safety and operations are encouraged to apply, as well.

The schedule is 7 on, 7 off and this is a hospital-based position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits; including health, life and disability, paid time off, and CME. An academic appointment with New York Medical College is also available, if appropriate.

MidHudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center is located in Poughkeepsie, New York, which is 75 miles north of New York City and 50 minutes from the Westchester Medical Center Campus.
