DIRECTOR OF FAMILY MEDICINE RESIDENCY PROGRAM
We’re currently seeking a Board Certified Family Practitioner to plan, organize, and oversee our Family Medicine Residency Program, serve as faculty for the residents and provide patient care. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating sections of the residency curriculum, continuing medical education, medical student rotations, resident recruitment, and the application/selection process. In addition, the incumbent will supervise the Behavioral Science Coordinator, Medical Student Coordinator and all residency faculty, as well as supervise and teach the Residents and UCSF medical students on rotation in the Family Practice Clinic.
This key assignment requires a valid physician and surgeon license issued by the Board of Medical Examiners or the Board of Osteopathic Examiners, a mix of clinical, teaching, and administrative skills gained through three years of experience as a Family Practitioner and one year of experience as faculty for a family residency program. The proven ability to work well with others to ensure timely completion and implementation of projects is essential.
