Family Medicine Faculty Jobs in Seattle, WA

Seattle, Washington - Swedish Family Medicine Residency Cherry Hill is seeking a full-time faculty physician. This is a 14-14-14 community based residency affiliated with the University of Washington School Of Medicine and the five state FM Residency Network. We provide full spectrum training including obstetrics and inpatient medicine with an emphasis on practice in underserved communities in any setting. Applicants must be ABFM board-certified family physicians who provide full spectrum care, are adept in EBM and share a passion for underserved medicine. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Integrative Medicine. Responsibilities of all faculty include teaching residents and students in clinic and hospital settings, developing an outpatient practice at the Cherry Hill clinic site and sharing OB and inpatient call. The Swedish Family Medicine Cherry Hill Clinic serves an ethnically diverse, immigrant and urban underserved population. Our tertiary hospital is the largest in the region. The program has successfully recruited top quality residents for four decades and enjoys excellent morale among residents and faculty. We offer three Fellowships and several Areas of Concentration. Faculty members are expected to complete the Faculty Development Fellowship at the UW within the first few years of employment. Our practice is located in the heart of Seattle. The Swedish Cherry Hill campus is located in Seattle's historic Central District. The building now known as James Tower was home to the first hospital in Seattle, established in 1877 by the Sisters of Providence. Today, the campus stands as one of the most modern and technologically advanced medical facilities in the region. Renovations include new neurosurgery and cardiovascular surgery operating rooms and interventional suites that are among the most advanced in the country.
