Geisinger Health System, a national leader in primary care and population health, is seeking a dynamic physician leader to oversee the clinical excellence and administrative initiatives of a department comprised of six outpatient Primary Care clinics located in beautiful Wyoming and Luzerne Counties. The primary work site will be based in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania.The successful candidate will possess:• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med-Peds (40% clinical responsibilities)• Strong clinical background and business acumen• Excellent communication skills• Successful track record in primary care and specialty integration in a multispecialty group practice environment• Successful record of leading quality initiatives in a group practice setting• Working knowledge and experience in practice leadership in a population health/medical home environment
